Day 4:
Saturday 6th June 2009
We reached Aswan early in the
morning at 10 am and then boarded our Mercedes coaches

of the Great Nasser lake which is the largest man made
lake in the world at 6000 sq Kms.
We then went to visit the Philea
temple. The Philea temple is on an island and therefore
we had to board Motor boats to reach there. After this
we visited a Papyrus factory where we purchased some
Papyrus.
We then boarded our coaches and
went straight to our Magnificent cruise ship the
"Adonis".
We were put two persons in a room
and all the cabins gave a fantastic view of the Nile
river. Immediately all of us went swimming in the ships
pool and lazed around on the sun deck. The ship sailed
at 4 pm and docked at Kom Ombo temple at 6 pm where we
went to see the temple of Kom Ombo.
We then had a great Indian dinner
prepared by our chefs from India.
Day 5: Sunday 7th June 2009
Today we got up a bit late since it
is a free day. After breakfast we went to the deck to
have a great swim and then watched in Awe as we
approached the Esna Lock. It was a truly learning
experience to watch as the ship slid past the lock into
the lower waters.
We had another swim in the evening
and then enjoyed the Belle Dance program and the great
Tanura dance done by the Nubian dancers.
After the show we entered the
ships discotheque and danced away into the night. What a
Holiday indeed.
