EGYPT JUNE 2008
Day 1: Sunday 1st June 2008 New Delhi -
Cairo
We took off from Indira Gandhi International Airport
10 minutes late but reached Bahrain right on time.
The flight was smooth and good and we have now
reached Bahrain and are enjoying Window shopping at the
Bahrain duty free shops and also having something
to eat at the Mac Donald's in Bahrain. Our Flight to
Cairo has been delayed by One hour We will now reach
Cairo by 3 pm local time.
We HAVE ALL REACHED CAIRO SAFELY and are in our
beautiful hotel. Some of us have gone swimming. We have
the sound and light show at the Pyramids in the night

Day 2: Monday 2nd June 2008 Cairo - Aswan
It is now 8 am in the morning and we have
all got up late today after the tiring flight yesterday.
We are now preparing to go to the Swimming pool and then
leave for sightseeing of the Pyramids at 10.30 am. We
may not get internet connectivity in the next couple of
days on the cruise so await more photographs after some
days.
All the
children are safe and healthy
In the evening we took the
sleeping train to Aswan at 8 pm.

Day 3:
Tuesday 3rd June 2008 Aswan
We reached
Aswan in the morning at 9.30am and went for sightseeing of
the Aswan High Dam and the Philea Temple. We then
boarded our ultra luxury Ship MV.Adonis and had a
wonderfull time swimming on the dec k. The ship then
sailed and we visited the Kom Ombo temple.
In the night we had a great
get together and played some lovely Egyptian games
arranged by our Egyptian guide and also danced away to
Egyptian music
Day 4:
Wednesday 4th June 2008
Today was the most relaxed
day of our life. We swam on the deck and had great fun.
Today was a free day and we had lots of fun on the ship.
In the night we had a Belly
Dance program and we all enjoyed it.
Day 5:
Thursday 5th June 2008
Early
morning we went for sightseeing of the Valley of the Kings and the
Queen Hutshepshut temple. In the evening we visited the
Karnak temple and then went for shopping in the Bazaars of Luxor. |
