| One of the most beautiful treks in India is the one to the Shivaling Pass in the Sangla Valey, in the state of Himachal Pradesh. The route takes the old Hindustan Tibet road and is simply breathtaking. This is from where the Chinese traders used to come to India in the ancient times. The trail goes through a rich countryside and is thoroughly enjoyable. The first section is through fruit orchards and then gradually ascend to thick forest finally climbing over snow and scree to ascend the pass. | |
